“Round counts have remained fairly steady in this environment. We have noticed our
players looking for variations on times and days to play to fit their budgets and increased
demands on their time. The driving range has increased over the last few months as
more guests are finding time (in shorter stints) to work on their game during this tougher
economic environment. Our weekly ladies and junior clinics have been very successful
lately and we are seeing more people take up the game in an effort to get out and enjoy
the beautiful weather and as a means to ‘get away’ from the every day grind.”
“We are confident that the players will still continue to find the time to play their rounds
of golf, it just might be at different times and prices in an effort to take advantage of the
specials that courses are offering. Golf remains a great solution to the constant demands
that are out there facing many local residents during this recession. We are confident
that our continued commitment to course condition and service will keep them coming
back throughout the year.” |
