What was the coolest accessory
you saw at the PGA Show?
|
|
It was definitely the best show in several years. As far as great products go, there were many. Club
wise I liked the 701 Irons by Srixon but I may be biased since I’m on staff with Srixon. I love the
Accu-Length Adjustable Junior Clubs and in fact my shipment from the show just came in to the
shop today. It seems like everybody picked up some of the 4 More Yards golf tees and I did as well.
They are not bad, I have played a few rounds since the show with them. King Golf had a cool accessory:
a Divot Tool that you attach to the top of the grip end of your putter to fix ball marks. In apparel I
liked the PGA Tour & LPGA Tour licensed apparel for kids from Total Kids Wear out of Canada. I also
saw some great hats from Back 9 USA. Another great apparel line was Basic Golf. They actually
did not have a booth on the show floor but I met the owner and saw a few of his shirts....great stuff
and it runs at a retail price about half of other big name labels with the same moisture wicking type performance. Great
Show!

The Golf Mat
It will change the way people think about hitting off mats. Players will prefer to practice off the
golf mat rather than normal grass.

The New EZ-GO RXV golf cart. This cart offers a new breaking system that will revolutionize the
cart industry. There are no more brake cables. The brakes work off the motor using a magnet
system. It will take only a few holes to get used to, but what a great new innovation. The cart also
features a new charger, which will reduce your energy cost by nearly $3,000 a year for a 75-cart
fleet. Everyone is working to go green.
