noticed a neighbor had a lawn care pro removing
a whole slew of azalea plants. A few sheckles to the man and he helped me
put them in my yard, which is now their happy blooming place. When the first
blooms appear I am reminded that the Florida Swing is on it’s way very much
like Easter, you know the song Hippity, hoppity…the bonnet, the bunny.
We start at PGA National with the Honda Classic. Then on to the PODS
Championship held at the Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay Played on the
challenging Copperhead course March 5-11. Then, the Arnold Palmer
Invitational at the namesake’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge. We end back down in
sunny Miami for the CA Championship at Doral March 19-25th.
Of course, we are also host to many other signature events in the month
of March. One of those is the The Ginn Championship, a Champions Tour
event held at the most awesome venue, Hammock Beach Resort. Visit
www.ginnchampionship.com for more details.
FLAUSA, the Visit Florida government body responsible for marketing Florida,
has reported record visitors from the northeast. The snowbirds are here. They
come down this time every year to nurse themselves through the winter.
Florida is the ample breast the shares her bounty of sun and fun. Just think if
you buy a second home here you have all the pleasures of being a Floridian just
like the “Birds”.
You’ll see me at all these fabulous events, enjoying our
sunshine.
P.S. In my Jan. letter I was incorrect. What I meant was “More mow in 94” sorry “E”.
