Corvettes Take The Stage At The
Renaissance Resort at World Golf
Village In Northeast Florida
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL– Car enthusiasts were in for a
real treat at the 10th Annual “Vettes at the Village”
all-Corvette show recently conducted at World Golf
Village in St. Augustine, Florida. More than 100 classic,
late model, hot rod and custom Corvettes were
on display, as was the “Corvette Circle of Evolution,”
which showed the complete history of the Corvette
from 1953 to 2008. Corvettes were positioned along
World Golf Village’s scenic “Walk of Champions”
walkway, which has bricks featuring the signatures
of past and present golf legends, and in front of the
newly-remodeled Renaissance Resort at World Golf
Village, seen here. The event, which was free and
open to the public, even included a hole-in-one contest
at World Golf Village’s Island Challenge Hole

Orange County National Announces May Winners
For Play Hard – Win Big Summer Promotion
Winter Garden, Fla.– Orange County National
announced today the winners of its Play Hard-Win
Big Summer Promotion for the month of May. The
five-month promotion with prizes up to $5,000 monthly,
gives golfers an opportunity to win golf, lodging
and merchandise each month throughout the summer
season.

the list when deciding where to play my golf.”
Golfers can enter the Play Hard-Win Big Summer
Promotion by simply filling out an entry form in the
golf shop at the Orange County National. At the end
of each month a drawing will be held awarding the
prizes.
“The promotion is designed to reward the golfers
who play at Orange County National on a regular
basis during our summer months and to encourage
more golfers to come out and play,” said Jimmy Bell,
Orange County National’s director of sales and marketing.
“The more you come out to Orange County
National, the more chances you have to win. Summer
is a great time to take advantage of great rates
on our two championship golf courses or use our
award winning practice facility and short course.”
Entry forms are available in the Orange County
National golf shop. One entry per person is allowed
per day. Five winners will be selected each month,
May through September. The monthly winners will
be posted on the Orange County National website.
Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge is

area. In addition to two championship golf courses

| Fortress Construction Group Awarded $1 Million Contract to Renovate
Golf Clubhouse at Alaqua Lakes |
Longwod, Fla. – Fortress Construction has started
work on a $1 million renovation of The Legacy Club
at Alaqua Lakes luxury community in Longwood.
Charles Ayers, president of the construction
company and former project manager at Alaqua
Lakes, said the work would include expanding the
dining room, a new ladies locker room, ladies social
area and state-of-the-art meeting spaces.
The new improvements, estimated for completion
in September, will complement recently finished
renovations of the men’s locker room and golf shop
at The Legacy Club, said Ayers. |
