PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL– The PGA TOUR announced
that a new event, the Ginn Classic at Tesoro,
will be held October 22-28, 2007 at Tesoro, a
Ginn Resorts community in Port St. Lucie, Fla. and
become part of the PGA TOUR’s Fall Series.
Under terms of the five-year agreement with
Ginn Resorts, the Ginn Classic at Tesoro will rotate
throughout various Ginn Resorts properties.

at Tesoro to the PGA TOUR schedule,” said
PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem. “The Fall
Series is an important part of the TOUR schedule,
and the Tesoro Club will be a wonderful venue to
challenge the best golfers in the world as they
attempt to secure their place in the 2008 FedEx-
Cup.”

TOUR to present the Ginn Classic at Tesoro,” said

The Tesoro Club is a par-72, 7,210-yard Arnold
Palmer Design which opened in 2005.
The Ginn Classic at Tesoro replaces the Running
Horse Championship in Fresno, Calif. on

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Golfers still have time to register
for the PGA TOUR Superstore World Amateur
Handicap Championship and save $35 prior to the
event’s early entry deadline on Monday, July 16th.
The World Am will limit the 24th Annual World Am
entries to 4,250 participants with the current registration
for the “World’s Largest Amateur Single-Site
Golf Tournament” standing at 2,953, almost 15%
more than last year’s total at this time.
Registration for the world’s largest amateur golf
tournament, to be played along Myrtle Beach’s
famed Grand Strand from August 26 through August
31, is $490 prior to the early entry deadline. Golfers

registration fee will be $525.
Entry into the tournament includes four rounds
of golf and a gift bag with more than $150 worth of

Hole, the tournament’s nightly party in the Myrtle
Beach Convention Center that features food, an
open bar, live entertainment and a golf expo. The

areas, skill contests and games for participants
