Matthew Miceli Where are you from? From outside of Boston, Massachusetts How old are you? Twenty- Eight What do you do to make money? I own and run a high-end international travel and concierge business called JetSet Elite, www.jetsetelite.com What, besides golf, do you do for fun? Sail – I’ve sailed all my life, and I think its how I really got my first taste of independence; out on the water as a kid.

Tell us about your ideal woman? That’s a tough question. In a typical year I spend time in extremely different places like Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic or Stockholm, Sweden for example. I hate to generalize because it never really works but Latin woman and Scandinavian woman have their own unique and wonderful qualities. Wow it might take me a while to figure that question out the more I think about it. Can I get back to you on that one? How often do you date? No comment – not so much a “dater” as I like to go out and enjoy myself; the whole traditional dating concept is passé in my eyes, but maybe that comes from not settling in one place, or living on South Beach.

What is your perfect date?
If I were to consider it a “date” I guess maybe sailing a couple miles off shore with a bottle of Clicquot for
the road.

Tell everyone about your first kiss…
I don’t kiss and tell… no just kidding. It was actually at summer camp in Europe. Unfortunately it was
a heavy-set German girl who overpowered me. Honestly, she pinned me down and laid a big wet one
right on my eye. I was petrified!

Who is the most beautiful person you know, inside and out?
My business partner’s wife, Lucia. We have known each other for so long since we met in Paris nearly a decade ago, and its amazing to see her grow, especially now that she is having a child this month and I’m
so happy for her.

Tell us something about yourself only your closest friends know.
I went through this phase in college where I got into European fashion. All my American buddies were calling me Euro-trash!

What three things would you need to survive on a deserted island?
Obviously, a girl I’m compatible with first off. A 9-iron and some floating range balls. Then I would say an outdoor gym so I could stay in shape while enjoying the sun, followed by an airline ticket back to
civilization a few months later; I get uncomfortable when not in a big city for more than a few days.

What do you find to be the most annoying habit people have?
Indecisiveness combined with a lack of drive. All too common.

Name the three most important things to you in this world.
Travel, Human interaction, Passion

What do you fear the most?
Losing my hair, though it has yet to happen! Seriously, running out of time before I achieve everything I want to achieve in life. I feel like the more I accomplish the more unaccomplished I really am.

Name a movie star you would like to go on a date with.
I’m thinking Laetitia Casta is the direction where I would be going. When I was living in Paris she was an icon doing ads for the famous Gallery Lafayette. She has this powerful Corsican presence but remains feminine at the same time.

What three people would you like to play with in your fantasy golf foursome?
I would first take Donald Trump as he has spearheaded so many successful golf projects including Cap Cana where I’m hosting an upcoming tournament, and the few times I’ve met him, he’s always the entertainer regardless of the company or setting. Throw in Tiger, and Bill Clinton as well. Can you actually make this happen?

Is there anything else we should know about you?
I’ve been very fortunate to travel and live across the globe, and play at many of the top courses in both
the United States and Europe. Traveling and golf have been a big part of my life growing up. I enjoyed
it so much that I created JetSet Elite, a company that does just that. In general I believe that you should be
passionate about what you do and most importantly never limit yourself to your own backyard. Thanks for inviting me to be part of Florida Golf Central.
