The Family Foundation

Since 2005 the David Maus Foundation has held an annual Celebrity Golf Tournament to raise money for charitable organizations dedicated to helping children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Last yearís golf tournament raised $115,000 for the Florida Childrenís Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Houses and the Crohnís and Colitis Foundation.

This year marks a significant point for our foundation because we have been fortunate enough to contribute to such amazing charities over five years. We love these two charities we are sponsoring, especially the Ronald McDonald House because we see the impact they make in the lives of children and their families. We are honored to help them,î said David Maus, Chairman of the Board. The event began at the Champions- Gate Clubhouse for a ìMeet the Prosî event where guests will enjoy food, entertainment, a Silent Auction and the chance to meet the Celebrity players.

Thanks to the Celebrity Players volunteering their time and the sponsors who make this event a success, the David Maus Foundation has been able to underwrite two rooms at the Ronald McDonald Houses, taking away the worry of overnight costs so families can spend precious time with their child in the hospital.
